Our Story

In 2002, Ollie Quinlan and Declan Kennedy purchased the popular local spot, Bradys Clockhouse, in Maynooth as co-owners. The establishment remained successful after their purchase and its popularity quickly rose.

In 2014, Ollie sadly passed away during negotiations for Declan to take sole ownership of the pub. As a result of this, negotiations were delayed until 2016 when Declan purchased the remainder of the pub from Ollie’s wife Eimear Quinlan. He remains the sole proprietor of Bradys Clockhouse to this day and is enjoying a successful career here in Maynooth, providing an atmospheric place for people to enjoy delicious food and excellent drinks.

History

Bradys Pub has remained a staple establishment at the heart of Maynooth for decades, and is well-known by all residents of Maynooth and surrounding areas. Phil Bradys apprenticeship as a barman at the age of 16 in 1923 developed his skills and knowledge of the industry. Within a decade, he had completed his apprenticeship, and purchased the pub from Mrs. Pitts, where it remains in the heart of Maynooth today, as Bradys Clockhouse.
